Weekends are alwys something to look forward to, they alwys were, i remember being at school and really be so happy when Friday came around. And then it rained. Model making, sorting out my LPs wtching black and White films. As I got older and joined a band weekends seemed less exciting but nevertheless there was a mood change when it came, and Sundays still always feel the same. Being in London now the rain seems almost part of the deal, and the odd bit of blue sky is charmed from the sky into the soul. Indoors I wrote some pieces to my book and gambled away at some lyrics for Glenn, its all very exciting for me and I’m right in there with my sleeves rolled up, I love it. I enjoy the walks around London that i get to take now, the parks are amazing even when cold and windy. I get outside so that i can have a look inside myself. My mood has been ok, a little wobble here and there but it too shall pass. Writing really helps me to cast the wood from the trees. I can’t really complain. There are great things ahead for me. I can not afford to drift. Weekends can be like blankets that can keep you warm, wrap up sweet one be yourself and let the fire burn bright, stick another log on the fire for me, make some breakfast and coffee.
