The Albert Hall, i was floating above it, on stage resting in its elegance and charm, the music tight like a ducks and the atmosphere so wonderful it could not have gone better. All my friends there to see, and Mrs D, children too, a really fantastic night to savour forever, up there with all the great shows i can’t remember from back in the days, back when the hangovers would strike. Backstage i feel things are moving there is a twig missing from the fire but apart from that its a very hot show. We are number 14 in the charts, our highest entry ever, its a spring in our sofa that can only falter if we let it, but it will. The Albert Hall, in so many ways the pinnacle of the tour. Me Mrs D and the girls, our mates and the after show glow. Lucky Days. They call it a peak experience when you are there but you can’t remember a thing about it. Spiritually i was there, i was there i have pictures to prove it.
