Tonight was ok, not a great Brighton show but a good one, the good people were all ears and we filled them, the set is getting better with each run, sounding tight and wonderful. It was good to see so many friends there, Emma was there tonight, we hardly see each other these days, its a mixed up old world. As ever her comments were constructive and meant a lot to me. Big hugs. Maggie from the tea shop was there too, Topham the pilot, Mews mates and the list goes on. Drove back to London to meet up with JB, it was 1 am. A full day with a mixture of emails and texts, coffee and tea, lunch and diner. Diner at Bills with Cissy, yum and love. Even though these shows do not provide a stable income i could do them all year round, its self building to perform and know your limits and enjoy the company of good people, the people who love the songs and come to see me play. It makes me happy. Lavender is in the air again, i sleep and it generates more happiness. Here is a picture of Boo.
