Its good to be back on stage again, in what now must be my home town. Our set felt long but not as long as Al Murray's introduction which went on for about 10 minutes. I felt nerves, i felt a little unsure of the songs, yet i know them all very well. It was like and England game, we passed the ball well enough but never seemed to really make it up field, i hit the cross bar a few times and so did Glenn. But all towards the end. The tour program is wonderful, the merch is great, the drum head looks fab...it was good to be back. It was packed out and fun, even with the nerves and the chord sheets on my music stand. There was a good feeling back stage, something was different, it was more relaxed than i remember being in America. Matt, my new manager saw his first Squeeze show and liked what he saw, Suzanne was in the front row dancing, we have arrived on the Christmas tour and when all said and done, its what we do best.....Lord Large played out of skin, as did Mr Hanson. Bentley was on top form too, even with some dodgy tuning. The crew were helpful as ever and Alice replaced Natalie in the dressing room, and she did a good job of it too. So here we are....back on the small stage.
