St Andrews in the Square is a lovely concert venue and i would like to thank Boo and Audrey for doing such a great job of booking this tour for me, there has been fuller houses than before and the venues are much better for me. Hip hip… Diner was very nice and we sat around telling jokes and me playing my demos from 1972. The band were all ears and could not get enough of my special minor mood. Most of the day i was in a minor key so the soundcheck and beyond lifted me. The gig was great, a standing ovation no less, and for the second night running, i felt like a good person. Everyone played well and we all enjoyed the night in Gods hand. Back at the hotel we shared the bar with the Ultra Girls who were in support to Kyle across the road in the big boys gig. They are from Leeds and seemed like a nice set of girls. Boo very kindly bid in ebey for a new screen for me, a small screen made by Rank. Its just perfect for the show. I owe my life to this man. Oh well the past is the past there is nothing i can do about that all i have is today. Today is a wonderful thing. I cant keep up with myself sometimes its like trying to second guess the garden. tiny violins one minute, pink cellos the next, its all go. My touring can be everything i need it to be, when i learn to respect the judgement of others who do this for a living then i can relax and make it happen, this is a great show it would be a shame to lose its appeal. I dribble with excitement as i climb into my bed, here in this hotel by the Clyde in Glasgow. Its all downhill from here, down to Yorkshire and the stages of utopia beyond. Thank you God for giving me this day, and this lesson in dealing with me.
