One hundred and twenty five days later….knackers in a vice, watched like a hawk, curfew at dusk, car keys confiscated. Not really, its all ship shape and as you would like it to be. Marriage is an institution based on trust and understanding and together we are learning where everything in the cupboard is kept. Life in the village is wonderful in the summer, the roses came and went and the creeper crept and strangled the house. Kids off school and the complicated timetable of the daily comings and goings of moods. Lou is brilliant with them and i admire the way she handles our space, and our time. Its been a summer of many parts and there is much to report in the way of life, at work and at play, and at home, its all going on. Today im so grateful for what i have and there really is nothing to complain about, though i try! Wedding bells seem ages away in the Dickensian past, there in the wet days of April, there in the wind of memory. In the rape seed of Romney Marsh we walked and i saw the house where i used to live, today my life is on another journey and each day, one at a time, reveals how great things can be. Mum and Dad would have loved to have been here to see my fat face, time passes so quickly as we grow older and all we have is what we never know. 125 days ago we stepped out into the future.
